May 1 - May Play Day at Bear Creek Camp
10:00 AM- Join the Bear Creek Camp staff and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod for an open house day of fun at Bear Creek Camp! While following government guidelines for safe socializing, join us to explore camp, meet BCC staff, and fellowship with our camp community.
This will be a great experience for both parents and youth of all ages to attend. The parents can check out the area that the kids have been asking about visiting again for confirmation. I am committed to spend the day here with you!! Please know that the event is FREE, the drive to the camp is about an hour, and parents will need to be included with your RSVP. I will then RSVP for all of us as a group. There is an optional lunch for $10 in advance but I think we can all just pack a lunch to keep this event FREE!!! Please RSVP now or no later than 4/10/21. Thank you!!
May 30 - Fish-for-Free Day
1:00 PM - Fish-for-Free Days allow anyone (resident or non-resident) to legally fish on Pennsylvania waterways on the designated days with NO FISHING LICENSE REQUIRED (Trout/Salmon and Lake Erie permits are also NOT required). All other fishing regulations still apply.
Fish-for-Free Days are great ways for families to “catch” the fun of fishing!
Please meet at Monocacy Creek on Illick’s Mill Road with your fishing pole and tackle box if you have one. I will provide bait. If you don’t have a pole, please let me know so I bring extra. If you don’t want to fish, you can take pleasure in walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Parents are welcome to stay.
Stay tuned for weather updates.
